A friend is someone who gives and accepts forgiveness.

Did you ever see the movie, "Meet Joe Black" ? In that there's a part at the end when one of the characters describes true love as knowing every possible flaw about a person - without it making any difference to them. That's my description of friendship.

Being able to confide anything to your friend and they actually sit and listen without butting in with their aches and pains and someone whose friendship gives you unconditional love.
