Does anyone have a cider press? I thought it would be fun to gather and make apple cider this fall. Memories of all the families in the hollow getting together in September to make cider are still strong on my mind.

This is what it was like back in the days when I was a kid:

I can still smell all those apples and taste that cool cider.

I don't have a press but I love apple cider.

I remember when Gemineye found Burt hiding out here on the back porch. Maybe this is where Burt keeps himself at times? This is where I keep all the baked goods and preserves, jams, jellies, and such. No wonder Gemineye and Burt sat out here.

Even though I do my fair share and don't push the body as hard as I used to 'cause I got bumped up to admin -- I still eat like a dang horse... 'grrr !!!
