I love tuna salad but every time I try to eat tuna from a can or a foil bag it just doesn't agree with me. I can eat fresh tuna with no problem and I really love it. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to make the tuna first? I'm thinking to bake it until medium to well? My only concern is drying out the tuna. There's probably a way to avoid that but I don't know what it is!

Lay out a sheet of aluminun foil, spray with pam, lay on your fish and seasonings, close it tight and bake on a cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes at medium heat depending on the thickness of tuna or salmon. Carefully open packet to let steam escape. Enjoy.

I lay the chunks of fish on a tossed salad and use ranch dressing.

Sounds delicious, Susan! Thank you! I was afraid I'd dry out my tuna but the foil really makes sense!

What a great idea...I'm getting so I don't care for tuna canned or in foil. Baking your own can eliminate a lot of unnecessary salt too.
