You are welcome, Vance. I love your series of dumb and weird laws. I would like to read more about old laws in England. Their country has so much more history than America and I am sure there are some really odd laws on the books.
Years ago when I worked for a huge company in Santa Clara, CA, my boss loved to post funny laws, etc. One he posted had us laughing every time we read it:
"Anyone caught dead in an upright position at their desk will be immediately fired." ( I do not think this was a real law, but, it was funny. The Human Resource Director loved it!)
