Did anyone see CSPAN's footage of the Memorial Day services at Arlington? I caught just a few seconds of the flag bearers marching in, before they broke to another segment.

However, those few seconds were certainly inspiring. There was an awesome Eagle Staff in the procession, and at least two of the flag bearers were wearing Plains style headdresses.

With Native Americans being the largest ethnic group, per capita, in all branches of the military, this recognition and inclusion was most appropriate and graciously appreciated.

I did not get to see that ceremony. It sounds very touching and inspirational.

I admire the sincerety and great respect Native Americans have for their veterans and fallen warriors. I am sorry I missed the services.
