Lucky you! That's exciting. I miss our cat who died in November. We won't be getting another pet as long as we live at our current residence. Maybe later. frown

How about saving your list of names until you get the cat. I have found that cats pretty much choose their names. You will know his/her name when you get to know your cat.

Lynne, Sorry about your cat passing away.
I know what you mean i can have a hundred names picked out
But when i see my cat it will have it's own personality which i will probably end up with a name that not even on my list!

Hi Rosie...cats do pick their names. I have 3 Xena, Simba and Rocky. Xena has been a scrapper since I got her at a week old. If she wasn't she would never have survived my inempt attempt at saving her...she'll be 4 in August. Simba was from a shelter, with the name of Scotty. Now who ever heard of a cat named Scotty. He was 10 months old and his walk was so regal like Simba from the Lion King so I named him Simba. He's 3 this month. The baby is named Rocky. He was so sickly when I got him at 4 weeks old so I named him Rocky so he'd be a fighter and survive. He's 2 this month. Good luck naming your kitty. What ever the name it's a lucky feline to have you as a mommy. Don't be too disappointed if the kitty doesn't lap sit. None of mine do. They lay on me or next to me when they want, but all have their own version of how things should be.

Congratulations on your new cat. I love cats too, I have 4 domesticated and 3 that were feral. I think that people that live their lives in the company of cats are spiritual...take lots of pictures of your new cat and make happy memories....:)
