Hi: I just starting writing poetry. I love it, it is so relaxing, makes you really thing and reach hard to the back of your brain and even the past. I find it so fulfulling.

What I want to know if there is an excellent book out there that explains all the different poems with good examples of each.

Thanks for posting. I agree that poetry can be a really nice way to relax, or to get your emotions out into the open and express yourself.

As for books about poetry, Ted Kooser's "The Poetry Home Repair Manual" is really good for poets who are looking to improve their poetry in all different forms.

Maybe some other readers/writers out there have more suggestions?
