Which do you prefer? Which is better for your hair?

I actually use both. The sun here in Miami really dries out my hair and my hair is also colored. So I use a wash out conditioner in the shower and have also added a leave-in conditioner to my routine. My hair definitely feels much softer and smoother than when I wasn't using a leave-in conditioner.

The nest choice is a rinse out conditioner. Leave-ins are designed for supplementary conditioning and rarely do more than coat the shaft of hair. THe other is designed to penetrate to the core and rinse off the excess when rinsed properly.

I use both on my clients.

I use wash out conditioners. I have also found that the thicker the conditioner, the better it seems to work.

Jeanette, I have found the same thing. I bought some thicker rinse-out conditioner after moving to Miami. After a while I realized that still wasn't enough so added in a leave-in spray called Miracle 7. I get Miracle 7 at Sally Beauty Supply.

I use wash out suave (always been the best for me), and air dry.

Then in the am, when it's looking all crazy, I use a suave water mix, and spray it to wet down again, and a little frizz serum (naturally curly in a high humidity climate- think bozo)

Then I comb it out, and tussle it up

And it looks, and feels as close to glam and gorgeous as I will ever get tut

I gotta wash that out. Leaving in the conditioner especially in this weather feels disgusting.
