Lionsgate has purchased the US distributions rights to Janet Evanovich's One for the Money, and they are preparing to begin filming with Katherine Heigl in the role of Stephanie Plum.
Lionsgate seems pumped about this turn of events, and after years of wondering whether this movie would get off the ground - so are we. There seems to be an excitement underlying the announcement. Let's hope everything works out and we get to see Stephanie on screen, at last!
