Hi Sheree, an interesting article! There has also been a rise in childhood problems such as 'middle ear' infections which affect listening ability in school, etc. Children are certainly not building up natural immunity in the way they used to. Gone are the days when you could play in mud and get really dirty.

Also, we keep ourselves pretty much isolated from the outside world living and working in air-conditioned buildings, not getting into the country-side as much as we used to, using a multitude of cleaning products to sanitise everything around us...(JOY)

I didn't realize middle ear infections were a problem as well. I agree adults and kids alike could actually benefit from getting exposed to some germs and dirt!
