Wow, what a great story...
Two moms (Jennifer Pate & Barb Machen) who met at a "Mommy and Me" class, decided that they wanted to create a show about how becoming a Mom changes you as a woman. They wanted to really dig into the topic of how the roles of Motherhood are being redefined by the contemporary version of a Mom. It's not like we have June Cleaver to look up to anymore. Moms today work 12 hour days and then somehow feel like a failure if their house is dirty. Why is that? These two Moms have made it their mission to help other Moms to realize that regardless of their career situation (stay at home/work from home/career away from home), we are ALL still successful each and every day. In my opinion these two women are modern day roll models (Goodbye June Cleaver!) and I am SO excited that they were nominated for a Webby Award this year!

What a Great Idea!! A show supporting moms, rather than making them feel inadequate for not having high-paying careers, perfect bodies, clean and perfect homes and amazing kids. It's about time that we, as Moms, receive recognition and a pat on the back for all that we do.
