i'm glad to know I'm not the only one who was dismyayed at the amount of housework going up! LOL - I thought it would be easier once I stayed home more, but it seemed like house destroying elves would sneak in and ruin everything I had done the previous day.

And there are some days that I just sit here and am overwhelmed by what all that I need to get done, that I get nothing done! It is that lack of a formal plan that you were talking about. I think if I approach my daily life more like a job, then I might get more done.

Honestly, this isn't the 1950s ladies. Nobody expects you to work your fingers to the bones every single day to keep the house as clean as a hospital on inspection day. Working moms darn sure don't go to work every single day, and our homes, as SAHMs, happen to be OUR offices. Besides, dealing with children and housework and errands (OH MY!) day in and day out is plenty enough to give you a couple of days of sitting in your jammies watching some Judge Judy for a change of pace. Everyone is entitled to a break. If any person expects more than that from you, maybe they should take a walk in YOUR shoes and taste life from the other side =) Good job ladies, I salute all of you! The CajunMama =) Shauna
