I like Andie MacDowell a lot. She seems very authentic to me. I'll make a note...and hope that I'm able to find the note on Sat. nite.

Have you ever figured out why people are so intrigued with crime and mystery? Is it because we can see ourselves in the place of the victim? (I've often been afraid for people in movies, but I don't think I ever wanted to be in the legal system as a lawyer, police officer, detective (well, maybe a detective...), or anywhere near a crime scene. I definitely wouldn't want to be a judge. lol

Mary, I think people are intrigued by the idea of trying to figure out the answer to the mystery before the end of the book or movie. Maybe it's the idea of trying to plan the perfect crime. We like to try it in our head but wouldn't really do it in real life.

Mysteries and suspense are my favorite type of books and movies.

I definitely would rather be on the outside looking in. I have all the respect in the world for the police force, detectives, etc. Must be a calling to be successful.

That said, my favorite books are detective and mystery stories and my favorite TV shows are those such as Southland, NCIS and NCIS LA, all three CSI's, etc.

Again, rather watch than be in the middle of the action.
