My salad today was Belgian endive, shallot, cuecumber, fennel, yellow bell pepper, sliced roast lamb dressed with a mint oil and vinegar dressing. A big, big bowl full.

That sounds delicious mtw! We rarely if ever eat lamb at home, that's a special restaurant-only meal for us. Is lamb something you eat fairly often?

I have access to home reared pork, lamb and mutton whenever I want and every so often I have meat for the freezer. I like mutton for a change, it has a great taste and also makes a beautiful soup/stew. Also, its my dogs' favourite, so I have to share. The Sardinian lamb is famous and sort after as a speciality in Italy.

Wow that's awesome mtw! Good for you!

Today's salad was at a restaurant, I had a writing group so I had a salad with ranch dressing before my salmon main dish.

Yesterday's salad was at home with a lettuce mix. I added in tiny tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, some ranch dressing, and voila! Quick, easy, delicious!

If you keep salad mix in your fridge, a salad takes you less than a minute and is really tasty smile

I had a salad for dinner tonight, the standard one, lettuce pieces, olives, pine nuts, mushrooms, little tomatoes, ranch dressing, bacon bits. It's tasty, and it keeps me alert!
