BellaOnline Forums Computers Digital Art and Design Setting Default Save-As in Photoshop

I use Photoshop for tons of image processing. I just upgraded to a Windows 7 machine and am settling in with Photoshop on it.

When I do a "save for web" it always defaults to a GIF image. I *never* use a GIF format. I want it to default to a JPG image. How do I do that?

I know the old system defaulted to JPG for me.

You will be working with the Photoshop.exe file in

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\
