Shutter Island is a Martin Scorsese thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams and Max Von Sydow, among others.

My daughter can't wait to see it. As for me, I have added it to my list of movies I want to see.

My husband and I no longer go to theaters, so I'll have to wait until it is released in DVD form. Invariably, we end up sitting next to talkers, loud popcorn-munchers, and candy-wrapper-crinklers when we go to theaters. Even in an empty theater, it seems like people have the "pack mentality" and want to sit close to others... One time, when my daughter and I went to the theater, she actually got up and moved away from a family who had to explain every little detail to one of the members. I was too embarrassed to move, so suffered through their continuous talking.

Hope you enjoy the film Danna - my whole family saw it and we all enjoyed it, whether or not we read the novel. The filmmakers stuck very close to the book with one surprise.

I seem to wait until the DVD as well. Not sure why as there are a number of theaters in our area. Mark Ruffalo is one of my very favorite actors so I will be sure to check this movie out!
