That's a great website. Thanks sbeamon!

I've just started sewing again and prices are crazy. The Hancock Fabrics discount will be a great help.

My article this week is on lifelong learning. There are some public colleges and universities that waive or reduce tuition for senior citizens. Since we haven't decided where to retire, I'm adding tuition cost to the pro's and con's of each area.

They are even building some retirement communities on and near a campus and offering special perks to retirees. So many wonderful places to retire - I may have to go for a college town on the beach.

Great idea, Alice. The community college in our city offers classes to seniors which are like continuing education. For a $20 fee we can take any and all of the classes on the list.

There are lots of topics from knitting to tai chi to history and computers.

The Senior Center near us also has lots of craft and health classes.

Learning something new all the time keeps our brain healthier and keeps us from having so many "senior moments."
