Read this article about a school in Mississippi that cancelled their prom because a girl wanted to bring her girlfriend to the prom.

I thought we were over all that nonsense. sheesh.

The girl shouldn't have needed to ask permission to bring her girlfriend in the first place. I wouldn't have asked.

What's the big deal. Didn't girls always dance with each other when they didn't have a date? So, what's wrong with these two girls dancing together? Is it ok if two straight unattached girls dance together, but taboo if two girls committed to each other dance together?

I think that schools focus on the "sex" aspect of veing lgbt and not on the relationship side of things. SO what if ytwo lesbians want to dance together, what about two gays? WHat about two girls and guys who aren't lgbt? Where do we stop? Blond hair? Blue Hair? Yellow eyes? Piercings that we don't agree with? Jews? Atheists?

You get the drift. These schools need to focus on teaching and not on who sleeps with who or who loves whom

Schools should teach tolerance. Lack of tolerance is the cause of conflict around the world.

They should have learned that you can't legislate or dictate morality. (Besides, GLBT, as far as I'm concerned, isn't a morality issue anyway.)

People will be very surprised to learn what God really thinks of sexuality.
