I posted this in the Drama Movies forum as I thought it was going to be a movie but apparently it is going to be a television series.

Dermot Mulroney will be taking on the role made famous in the 70's by James Garner as Jim Rockford.

Knight Rider didn't work second time around and neither did the Bionic Woman? Will they never learn?

Totally missed the Bionic Woman re-do. I tried the Knight Rider a couple of times--bleck. You'll have to do an update when the Rockford Files starts, as my TV no longer communicates with the ether. Now we wait until we hear of a good show, wait for the library to buy the boxed set, check it out and watch it in concentrated doses with no commercials.

At least with David Shore writing, RF v.2 has a chance of being good, yes?

I always loved James Garner and nobody can really replace him. They should just do a new show or maybe have the guy be Rockford's nephew or something and have James Garner be the dad, giving advice.
