Follow the link to read my article about crazy laws in Alabama and Alaska. These laws were all on the books at one time and some may still actually be there although probably not enforced. Each month I am going to do an article on one or two states and the crazy laws that were and may still be on the books. There are just too many to put in one article and is the reason I am going to do them once a month until the craziest laws in all states are covered. After that, I will go international. In Alaska, it is illegal to bring a kangaroo in a barber shop

Can I bring the kangaroo to the ice cream shop?
These laws are so silly and I can't believe they haven't removed them from the books......

I believe a kangaroo in an ice cream shop is legal...lol. Unless the kangaroo puts an ice cream cone in his back pocket in Alabama because that is illegal.

In Mobile, Alabama, it is illegal to bathe in the city fountains.Darn!  It is so tempting.

Can you shower instead of bathe in the public fountian? Wouldn't it make more sense to shower in a public fountain rather than take a bath?
Too bad they don't allow it. I was thinking of selling Soap on a Rope at the fountian.
