The world has some wacky answers to that question. One way Jesus defines it is right here: No Greater Love. What's your from-the-heart, rock-bottom definition?

I wanted to answer before I read your article. As you said in your post, there are many definitions of love. Some are heartfelt and some are truly wacky. I have an unconditional love for my children and I have an unconditional love for my fiancee. While its true that the two loves are different, it is still unconditional.

Just like the love our Father has for us. It is unconditional and it is true agape love. Nothing says that better than John 3:16.

This is a nice article LeeAnn. Many couples profess love for one another but that complete submission to another's good is a much deeper kind of love.

Right, Lynne. Much deeper, much more difficult, but it can also be much more fun! My husband tells people we play the "love game," wherein each of us tries to out-love the other in little treats and courtesies, and sometimes huge concessions and 'forgivings'. It's a fun game, trust me. No score-keeping, of course--that would negate the whole purpose.
