Do you know of any inexpensive online Judaism conversion classes? I began my conversion many years ago, but unfortunately couldn't continue. (I was offered an apprenticeship to become a barber.) Since I had to work on Saturdays, the same day as my conversion class, I had to let the class go.)
However, I am still just as interested in converting. Unfortunately I live in a rural area, and the closest synogogue is either in Fredericksburg or Richmond, VA...both over an hour away.
Any suggestions?

My deepest apologies... This forum post never registered as "new" and I never noticed it. I do not know of any conversion classes online. There may be some that you can do over the phone.

I have mentioned Partners In Torah a few times in the forum. I think that might be a great contact. If they cannot do it, they may know of a resource you can contact.
www.askmoses.com may also have a resource list for you. They have people online answering questions, I think, 24-hours a day (not Shabbos, of course).
