BellaOnline Forums TV and Movies SciFi TV Caprica so far?

I was wondering what other BSG fans think of Caprica so far? I'm enjoying it, especially the imaginative way they are explaining how the cylons came to be created - apparently through neuronal data derived from the mind of a monotheistic human terrorist! I also like the way Adama's family is rather shady and corrupt. That was one of the best things about BSG - no pure good or pure bad, no one was perfect, everyone had serious character flaws (as we all do in real life). Despite all these things I like about Caprica, something is not really grabbing me as much as BSG did. Maybe the age thing? Many of the Caprica characters seem to be geared to appeal to viewers in their 20's... kind of hard for an old lady like me (50 next month) to relate to! *AJ*

I think you covered it pretty good. I loved Battle Star and I think I will enjoy Caprica just as much. I agree on the no pure good or bad, even the cylons catch you in the heart strings once in a while lol. It will be very interesting to see this story unfold. I am a sci fi nut.

I enjoyed this show, and am hoping it comes out for a second season.
