Cara, thanks so much for your response, I actually went to a meeting to listen in on plans for helping Haiti by fellow West Indians. It is always wise to be careful of charities that aim to pocket money meant for a good cause, so I was not impressed. Therefore, I did not post a follow up article. I think the Red Cross is a secure and trustful one, and the one by Wyclef Jam that I mentioned in my article. I was contacted by a couple of organizations, I will post one that I felt was substantial,as a recognized registered Non Profit Organization(NPO). They have always done great work with Haiti, and continues during this trying time. In the interim, I will update you .
