Hi. I've been sewing for a very long time, but I've never come across this problem. I'm making a jacket for a man in California - I'm in Wyoming. We will not be able to get together for a fitting, so I'm going to have to mail him the mock-up. The problem I have is that my dress form is for a woman, and I have no idea how to adjust or add to my form to meet his measurements. His shoulders alone are 5" wider than mine! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to do this? I can't afford another form, so I'll have to do this on the cheap. Thanks in advance!
