After talking with the owner of the bird shop, we have discovered that Cloie is under stress due to neglect from her previous owner. She is not molting but plucks her feathers.
We are going to have to work with her extra hard to get her comfortable with us and show her she is loved.
The owner of the shop even knew who the owner was and is willing to help all he can.
We also found out that the previous owner was only feeding treats. No balanced diet. So that will be a gradual change for both birds. They are actually taking one of the foods from our hand.
Boris seems to be doing fine but I do worry about Cloie.
