BellaOnline Forums Relationships Marriage Feeling useless...

So....i'm kinda new at this...but i got married 6 months ago...I am a Navy Wife, who used to be in the Navy herself, not too long ago..I got out, due to my pregnancy...two weeks later i miscarried. I am now staying at home...doing nothing but grieving over my loss and having nothing to do. My husband is dedicated to his job and he is constantly busy, i didn't mind when i was working as well...but now, it almost feels like i'm the lost and forgotten wife. I live in a small town with nothing really to do..and just...any newly weds in a somewhat similar situation...what do you do to not go insane with boredom...and just feeling useless?

Is there a library near you? How about a gymnasium, swimming pool? Any 'big sister' organizations? One night a week out to a movie with friends? What about being a volunteer in a seniors center?

Boredom = depression, don't let that happen.

Do you plan to get preg. again? Just curious.

Can you get a small indoor dog? they are always happy and glad to be with you. can you volunteer somewhere, to take the focus off yourself and put it on someone else? can you help out at the school, reading to the small kids or helping in a classroom?
and working out will make you feel better about yourself, also.
