I am so excited for 2010, my cookbook will be out in Feb/March, and I am thrilled to share some great recipes with you found on my food blog. They are the traditional fare that is found at the lunch and dinner table on New Years Day in many Caribbean homes. Please read all about my childhood celebrations on New Years Eve known as Old Years Night in the Islands. I am also happy to share a great online radio website that plays the best Caribbean and American/British pop culture music, along with oldies of the 50's through the 80's. It is Pepperpot Radio and for the recipes of the traditional Black Eyes Peas and Rice, and Roast Pork which is typically served on New Year's Day to bring good luck for the entire year, please visit my blog at: Guyana's Tasty Exotic. Have a fruitful New Year, and I look forward to informing you on many more Caribbean articles of interest.
