Maybe I'm getting a bit too extreme, but I hate to throw my old windshield wipers into the trash with all that metal and rubber.

Any ideas for recycling them?

Congratulations on hitting 12,000 posts Beetlemess!

You know, Bob and I were just talking about ways to get a microfiber cloth into our house windows to clean the inner panes. I bet that would work perfectly!

Bob is not sure if they are bendy enough to work but I think it's far better than putting them into the trash. So I'll at least give it a try. Right now it's freezing out so this experiment will have to wait until the spring smile

Congrats Jilly!!

Maybe the rubber part is recyclable? Wherever people accept tires?

The metal could always be recycled with the rubber insert removed & used as a weather/water-proof sweep on the bottom of a door (shower; maybe a animal entrance)

Thanks for the congrats. I'll be cutting back on the postings since I attained the average of 1,000/month in a year. I like the challenge of the games but the information in the other listings is phenomenal.
