Here is another female character of sci-fi you should consider.

From The Andromeda Strain (1971)

actress Kate Reid as Dr. Ruth Leavitt
She is a fiery outspoken scientist in this sci-fi thriller.
Besides how many women scientists were in the movies then or even now?

How about Kim Hunter as "Zira" in the original Planet of the Apes (1968).

or

Rachel Welch as "Cora" medical assistant to Dr. Duvall in Fantastic Voyage (1966)

Hey Michelle smile

Love! Loved your pic of ladies, especially Michelle as Catwoman - my all time favorite comic book anti-hero in there. Plus Leia, Sarah Conner and of course the brilliant Ripley - really great choice.

Are you going to be including any more superhero gals?? I have to vote for Elektra in DD and the movie itself, I really enjoyed them - plus, I know Mystique is kind of bad - but she's so cool in X-Men LOL.

BTW: Was it wrong that I wanted Michelle to rip out Claire DAnes heart so she could be pretty again? LOL

Mystique IS awsome!

Michelle Pfeiffer was gorgeous when she played her "beautified" self in "Stardust", but we can't let her go around ripping out innocent star's hearts. Shame on you Steven. grin

It's a Claire Danes thing LOL - if it was Scarlett Johansson, I'd have been rooting for her all the way, but Claire Danes has looked nothing but miserable since 'My so called Life' - though I did like her performance in 'Stardust' - best she's ever done. I love the film, it's awesome smile
