Hi, I've been wanting to learn Reiki for quite some time. I searched for a teacher in my area and haven't found someone I liked and in addition the prices were too high for me to pay. Recently I stumbled upon some online Reiki courses and it seems, at first glance, that they deliver a good package which can help me learn what I want. Has anybody here studied Reiki with an online course? Please check out this site: BellaOnline ALERT: Raw URLs are not allowed in these forums for security reasons. Please use UBB code. Hi Caroline

I would strongly advise you to keep looking for a real teacher as Reiki attunements should be carried out directly on a one to one basis in my opinion. It is not the same as sending absent healing.

It is important that you find someone whose energy feels comfortable, that they are experienced and you feel you can trust them. Reiki symbols can be messed up with unfortunate consequences for the recipient. Your Reiki master should be someone you can turn to if you need them. Ideally they will run their own Reiki shares. Don't rush things. Be patient and if you are really meant to be attuned to Reiki either the teacher or the sum of money will materialise.

Do be aware that there are other healing energies available to us and Reiki is just the best known- that doesn't mean it is necessarily the best for you. I use many other energies that I have been shown how to access over the years and Reiki is only one of these.

For more info on Reiki you can read my article here: Reiki- Energy Healing

Hi Lauren, It has been two incredible months for me. I took the Chikara-Reiki-Do course which was recomended in the website: http://www.myexpertreview.info/best-reiki-courses-online.htm A personal teacher might be a better option, I can't compare now when I haven't tried it yet, but I feel I have advanced in Reiki practice and feel the energy running through me. I am sure that due to the very high price which teachers charge for their personal courses I wouldn't have entered this wonderful world without an online reiki course. I recomend starting with an online course for anybody who either cannot afford a teacher or is not sure if this is the right energy for them. Good luck all...
