I finally read Cyril Hare's The English Murder and it really is a good Christmas mystery. I loved it, but then again, I am very partial to British mysteries...
Another British Christmas mystery book is Red Christmas by Patrick Ruell. Some of you probably know him as Reginald Hill... He writes the Dalziel and Pascoe police procedural mystery series. (I also really enjoy this series.)
Both of these Christmas mysteries are set in big houses, where the inhabitants are stranded... � la And Then There Were None (Agatha Christie). These Christmas theme novels are out of print, so you might have to borrow them from a friend or library... They are well worth the effort of tracking them down.
