Many couples choose to have open relationships where the partners are open to have other relationships. These laws would make that very personal choice a legal crime. I think individuals should choose for themselves what their vows mean to them.

If you're going to criminalize adultery, you could also criminalize it if a couple chooses NOT to have sex. How a couple chooses to have or not have sex is up to them.

I agree. There ae too many other crimes out there that should be punished and adultery should not be one of them. It should be left as grounds for divorce and that's it. imho.

I think that celebrities should not have to have their flings all spread out for people to see. How embarrassing for the spouse (male or female) and the kids, if any!!

If people would stop making a big deal of this trash - then it would stop being news and we could all get on with our lives.

There are more things out there that are REALLY newsworthy.
