This is a fascinating article on CNN about a rare disorder which has boys looking like girls until they hit puberty, and suddenly it's clear that they really do have male parts in there somewhere -

Part of what bothered me is that their access to education and such is radically different.

Also one of the "boys" chose to present himself as a boy at age 16 - but he says he still feels like a girl inside. Shouldn't he be allowed to remain a girl then?
