Would you consider the Karate Kid a classic movie?

I heard there will be a remake (re-do of a classic?)

there is going to be a remake starring Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan in the Mr. Miyagi role and will be called "The Kung Fu Kid"

I think it's deplorable and movies like that, Saturday Night Fever, Foot Loose should be left alone.

I refuse to see it and will save the money for something else.

Oh thank goodness you all agree with me! I wish they wouldn't mess with the old stuff!

Perhaps this movie is all new just based on the same ideas, but w/the whole "characters being the same thing" kinda it just spoils it!
