Fourteen anime theme song singers from Japan formed a group called Anison All-Stars to record John Lennon's "Imagine" as a charity single to fight world hunger. Currently, the song is only available on Japanese music download services. 100 yen from the proceeds of each download will go to the World Food Programme (the United Nations organization that fights world hunger and poverty).
The singers who participated in this effort are: Mami Ayukawa, Yoshifumi Ushima, Minami Kuribayashi, Hiromi Satou, JAM Project (Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endou, Hiroshi Kitadanim Masami Okui, Yoshiki Fukuyama), Hiroki Takahashi, Kaori Hikita, Faylan, Yumi Matsuzawa, and Shunji Inoue.
