All very good ideas, I kinda skipped the beginning and started in the middle...It's just where I begin everything in life.

JoyfulJanet- Yes, I generally have no problem coming up with nice layered plots that aren't to confusing for the average reader and I have plenty of character's that seem to live in a little area of my brain all their own. It's begining and spelling/grammer I have trouble with, thank the gods for spellcheck.
Bowling Editer- ahh the dreaded free write... I once got frustrated on one of those, spent a good half hour staring at a black paper before writing about the lack of ability to write...ended up somehow with stick people personifying my different aspects of my personality and then getting run over or otherwise squished by words...since the whole freewrite was based on what was happening in my brain at the moment. I also wrote about bacon being taken out of the freezer, thawed, cooked, and eaten....from the perspective of the bacon of course.
