As I do my Great Cleanout, I am uncovering a TON of really nice things that I no longer need and would like to try to earn a few bucks from them. Do people have the best luck with ebay, Craigslist, other selling lists, at ebay dropoff resellers,or by bringing things to consignment shops?

I am starting to break things down in each category of 'things to eliminate' and need some serious help figuring out how to do this.

Keep in mind i do NOT want to have a garage sale. Although i would be willing to have someone ELSE have it for me and give them a portion of the profits (how much would be fair, you think, if I did this? And how would I find such a person?)

When I cleaned out my house I simply gave everything away on freecycle. It was too much to deal with.

I know just how you feel. Blerg.

I have these things to deal with in the furniture/housewares department:

2 nice but simple wooden stools from target
an antique pie safe
an antique wooden ironing board
antique baskets
4 antique windows (salvage style)
antique rocking chair
2 woven rattan low seats - very low, like almost sitting on the foor, they are round and wasabi style
cat condo
camp chairs
outdoor bistro and chairs
antique crib - iron, folding
antique birdcage, iron (standing and leaning over kind - simple Victorian style
Crate and Barrel Microfiber daybed
Misc vintage tea tables
Gilded framed Vintage Mirrors ( a bunch, I collected them)
So many framed prints and canvas paintings
Tons of kitchen housewares, inc a set of Cephalon pots and pans
vintage linens
vintage dressers
vintage 'pirate chest' (too huge and heavy to cart around...sadly)...
Shelving units
Collection of Milk Glass, Depressionware and 1950s style Pyrex n stuff
Kayaks, snowshoes, other sporting goods
Vintage and antique lamps
old old books
Two nice upright vacuum cleaners
Star Trek Collectibles
Jeez, so much more and I am going to stop now as this is getting embarrassing.

hey, it occurred to me i could hire an estate sales organizer and THEY could take care of it all! I think i should look into this.

Also there is a consignment store in Cottonwood nearby.

Which way would bring me more money?
