Wow!! I guess we share the same thing! As for me I am more of an "Organic Jewelry collector". I just adore organic pieces that are so unique most especially the "Huayruro Seeds Jewelry" handcrafted in Peru. That country has always been close to my heart for it's nice and warm people.

Why I Collect Jewelry

I started really collecting after I lost my hair - weird time I realize, but I started wearing hats and scarves, and jewelry just naturally fell in with that.

It was kind of funny that I had never had much interest in "adorning" myself until after I lost my own main natural adornment, LOL! Now I'm hooked on all sorts of accessories, and I love anything that is different. I don't go for the average. I think thast is why I have started getting into beading and jewelry making myself - because I KNOW it is going to be completely different from what anyone else has!

I got into turquoise on a trip to Albuquerque. Some of this jewelry is absolutely stunning - like chokers and squash blossom necklaces.
