Whew! What a week it has been. The fact that I read these books the prior week helped to arm me for this past week's battles. Check out the reviews of three books on spiritual warfare and prayer.

Books by Charles Stanley and by Drs Jerry and Carol Robeson

Satan's Dirty Little Secret

What situations have you had to pray through lately? How has prayer brought you through?

It's been a tough week. I'm on my girls softball league's board, and a coach/parent has been personally attacking me via email (cc everyone else on the board) and in person. Every time I deal with him, I am literally shaking with rage.

I have been praying all week long to for the Lord to help me let go of my anger, and to give me lots of patience when dealing with this guy. It's been hard, but God has helped me get through it and find a solution.

I kept trying to remember that He wouldn't put me anywhere that I couldn't handle, at least without Him carrying me through it.

Amen! Can you imagine how much life's situations could escalate if we only had our own strength to rely upon? I'm sorry to hear about your situation but glad that God has provided the solution!

Don, I empathize with you...email wars are the very worst. Through really traumatic experience, my hubby and I have learned never to answer back at all to any email attacks. Private responses don't stay private!
Prayer to an Almighty Advocate certainly helps put things in perspective, and get me through things I never imagined I would have to endure. He is faithful and gentle.
