Hi. I was laid off at the end of January and now my 26 weeks of unemployment has run out. I'm very confused over how many more weeks I will be able to collect. I'm a 61 year old living in Nevada where pickings are very slim for women my age, no matter what the experience and education. Is it possible that unemployment might carry me through the next year (if no job comes through) until I can draw Social Security at 62? Really appreciate your accurate feedback and any other suggestions.
