A WW II era story hand written by Agatha Christie has been found by the author John Curran who has been going through her notes. The Hercule Poirot story has the same title as one published in 1947 - The Capture of Cerberus.

The newly found version was written in 1939, and was unusual for Christie as she addressed current events and had her main character "stirred into excitement by feminine beauty." Either or both of those topics prevented the story from being published at that time.
