I am looking to connect with other parents with autistic children. I have a 14 year old daughter that was resently diagnosed. I am just looking to brag, vent, ask questions, talk make a friend that unerstands.

I am a grandmother to an 18-year old with autism, but I doubt that I can share much with you. I did want to tell you that the "Health & Fitness" channel in the box to your left includes a forum on "Autism Spectrum Disorders". I'm sure you will find many there who share your concerns.

I'm thinking it has been quite a journey for you to get to a diagnosis at age 14. You are welcome here and I hope you will tell us more about yourself and your family.

We do have a wonderful community at the Autism Spectrum Disorders site at Bellaonline.com and you certainly are welcome to also post a message in the ASD Forum associated with the website as GrannyH has already suggested. Good advice!
