I really hate my facial skin sometimes, especially my forehead. I am in my mid 30's and still have breakouts on my chin. My main problem is my oily forehead. I wear bangs because I have a large forehead and have never looked right without them. The problem is, my bangs will often look oily by mid day. What can I use to keep the oil down so my hair won't look so nasty at the end of the day?

If you have a oily skin u have to use good face-wash Clean & Clear Johnson Brand. It is best for your face. And one option is more i.e. take some multani mitti with gulab jal. This paste use on your face twice in week. You will get a better result after 5-6 wash. If you get better result than reply me.

Have you tried using blotting papers? they're easy to carry and do the job, not too expensive either!

I'm not sure what products you use but make sure they are oil free. I also have oily skin and I always use an oil free moisturizer and I stay away from foundations as they make my skin oily quicker. I use the mineral veil sheer powder from bare escentuals - it works to absorb oil and adds a finish to my skin like foundation would. And, like the others said, blotting papers really do work to absorb oil.

Oily skin is shiny, thick and dull colored. Often a chronically oily skin has coarse pores and pimples and other embarrassing blemishes. It is prone to blackheads. In this type of skin, the oil producing sebaceous glands are overactive and produce more oil than is needed. The oil oozes and gives the skin a greasy shine. The pores are enlarged and the skin has a coarse look.

Maybe you can apply powder under your bangs often throughout the day to keep if from being oily. I used to just wash my bangs every morning in the sink even if I didn't need to wash my hair.
