I have had the cheap ones like revlon and the more expensive ones like CHI & SEDU but I feel like they all have their flaws. My hair stylist uses a Hana flat iron and that was pretty sweet but I haven't seen any reviews.

Any suggestions?!

I think quality makes a lot of difference when it comes to the results you get with a flat iron.
I've done a few reviews for the Hair site. These are the links...

My straightener is one of the more pricey models by Conair and I love it. I got it at Target and it works really well on my hair. It's not as expensive as the top brands but works much better for me than than the lower priced drug store models. I have never owned a Chi but have used my sister's and it always works great. I do think that it's worth the price and if my straightener were to break I would consider buying a Chi.

Hi Lynn, Have you used the new thing so to speak....The Instyler...I think that's the name. There's a lot of infomercials on it and I checked it out on-line. You get two for about $100.00 and it's supposed to straighten, wave, shine and lift etc.

It looks cool to have one styler give you that much versatility (and I know that with a good flat iron you can get some lift, shine and wave also once you get used to handling it) I read some reviews on it and the tip seemed to get too hot for many and there was a stylist suggestion to wear gloves (cumbersome I would think) but I was impressed by how quickly they were styling. Could also be because they're professionals!

Thanks!!! smile

Hello Sue,
I just googled the Instyler for a reminder of what it is. I have seen the infomercial. It looks very interesting and seems to work well. I would make sure it has a good warrenty since it wouldn't be of much use without the turning barrel.

Thanks Lynne....I'd really like to know if anyone has actually used it...outside of an infomercial! To give us the inside scoops. Thanks again Lynne

Thanks Lynne for answering the question. I have bone straight hair so for me using a straightener is of absolutly no use. However seeing how cool these tools look makes me wish sometimes I did have curly or even wavy hair!
