It really pays to review old records. I contacted someone who is working on my line just to touch base and we began discussing different people. As a result, I pulled out my old documents and saw a couple of things I hadn't noticed or remembered.

Yes, and sometimes you can look at something and see nothing. then go back to it later and with things you learned in between the lookings, you see something you did not before. Or the information now makes that light bulb in your head shine.

Happens to me all the time. I try to review older info. occasionally hoping to see something I missed before.

I need to review everything I have. I prepared my analysis for ProGen. That is what started me looking into my family history again.

Someone in my group sent me their analysis. Theirs was concise and mine was a bit wordy and rambling. I'll have to be more careful in the future. I don't think I really understood what was needed. I included more narrative in my analysis.

Well, it seems like each time we do our assignments mine is lacking coimpared to the others, but I am doing this for learning and that is what I am getting. LOL

I've always been the type to show me and I can learn better than telling me as in instruction form. If I can see an example I can catch on better. So, ProGen and TGS has been great for me this past year or so.

Are you going to Samford this year?
