"Some people find that just exercising their creativity is fulfilling enough for them. The 'doing' is what satisfies them and the end result isn't so important. Some people find that they need an end result that pleases them before they're happy with their creating. Some people need an end result that they feel they can give to friends and family as gifts. Yet others feel the need to sell their creations thereby earning back a bit of money to justify the time they've spent on them."

What is it that satisfies you about your creativity?

I don't know what it is, but what I do know is that if I do none of the things I consider creative for a week or more I start to feel grumpy. Then if I do something creative I suddenly feel okay again.

I know exactly what you mean, Ramsey! I start to feel quite unsettled if I'm in a position where I can't do any of my usual creative activities. I've recently been away from home for several weeks due to circumstances beyond my control - and I found it very difficult not being able to paint or write just when I wanted.

Thankfully I'm home again now...
