Sometimes watching the news makes me worry. There is so much emphasis on what's wrong and not much on what is right.

I counter this by not watching regular news everyday, looking only at the major headlines online and choosing what I want to read about.

This Swine Flu has terrified my little sster and now she's refusing to leave the house. I'm finding it a bit scary too, TBH, they're really going on about it.
It's always terrible news, I just watch the headlines usually to make sure I know what' going on in the world - and I try to put things into perspective too.

I agree, Steven. It's find to see what's going on in the world but I am much more concerned with keeping my own personal life calm and peaceful. I can't do anything about the world situation but I do have control over what's happening in my own life.

Watching the news makes me physically ill. I can't watch anymore. It's ALL BAD News.
