There's an interesting new two-part version of Oliver Twist that puts a lot of new spin on the story. Molly is now of African descent, and they try to make every character one with a good side - except for Bill Sikes.
They really emphasize (maybe over-emphasize) the Jewishness of Fagin.

Lisa are you on about the BBC series? I love the Musical - no one will ever beat the actors in that, and Shani Wallis IS Nancy - love that movie, it's excellent. The others always pale in comparrison.

Steven - I adore the musical and have it on DVD. I've seen it tons and tons of time and sing the "Be back soon" song when I leave the house sometimes smile
