Boo hoo. Loved the book, but don't have HBO, so next best thing is to wait for it on Netflix. It's on their listing, but not available yet. I'm so delighted that it's been made into a series. This was such a great book. The only thing I didn't like was the roobois <sp?> tea when I tried it!

Although I enjoy the characters and actors, the scenery is what I enjoy the most. The whole show speaks of quality in every area, and I think we need more of that on TV. I'm sure that is one reason many people are no longer watching as much TV as before - the lack of quality shows, IMO.

Another good show last night (Sun. May 3rd). I am so impressed with the characters of this wonderful show. I wish two things:

1. That it was on a network so that more people could view the show.

2. Networks paid more attention to quality rather than just throwing shows onto the canvas in a willy-nilly fashion.

And Mary, I love Netflix for the convenience and availability of shows I would not normally be able to see (i.e. my favorite, Midsomer's Murders).

Hopefully, this show will be available very soon.
